     SMI is proud to have partnered with UMass Chan Medical School to complete the renovation of teaching space in the basement level ‘A’ of their facility. Our team was able to perform this job under solid deadlines and tough conditions. Furthermore, our team excelled and the job turned out to be something for the school to be proud of. This project transformed the area into a modern, functional learning environment designed to support the school’s academic mission.

     This project required the careful demolition and removal of existing CMU walls, suspended ceilings, flooring, and associated power, lighting, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Our team reconfigured the space to support a modern design while meeting the specialized needs of the medical school. The scope also included relocating fire sprinkler systems to ensure full compliance and functionality.
