BMC SEMC Cardiac Rehab

    SMI partnered with Boston Medical Center at St. Elizabeth’s to prepare clinical suites for a new Cardiac Rehab program. The project reflects our deep experience in healthcare construction, particularly in adapting existing facilities to meet evolving regulatory standards and patient care needs.

​     Key improvements included the construction of two ADA-compliant bathrooms, one specifically designed as a “patient of size” facility as well as the installation of hand sinks in multiple exam rooms. These updates weren’t just checkboxes for compliance, they were integral to ensuring accessibility, safety, and dignity for all patients.

    Ultimately, this project underscores SMI’s role as a trusted advisor and problem solver for healthcare clients. It’s about more than construction. it’s about enabling care.
